5K Charity Run

On Saturday, Oct 13, six sporty comparatists represented the department in the Jill Behrman Run for the Endzone 5K race. Thanks to those of you who came to show your support, and a special thanks to our runners: VIVIAN HALLORAN, JOHANNES TURK, MATT ROWE, BEN GARCEAU, CENAIDA ALVIS BARRANCO, and ERIN PLUNKETT. We averaged a very respectable pace of 8:54 and a time of 26:48 overall. Congrats to Prof. Türk for leading the team with 21:48 and taking the third place medal in his division. We look forward to running again next year with an expanded team!
