The Department of Comparative Literature held its annual Welcome (Back) Picnic on Saturday September 6th in Bryan Park's Henderson Shelter. As always, the picnic was a potluck - a big thanks goes out to everybody who brought out the yummy dishes and desserts! Before the picnic, we organized a trip to the Farmer's Market to purchase some fresh and local goodies. We had some friendly competition during the picnic (SCRABBLE!), and went swimming afterwards. Thanks to everybody who attended for a wonderful beginning to the new academic year.
